Helpful Hints and Need to Knows
All our Confetti Cannons contain compressed air – so are unable to be taken on aeroplanes due to air regulations. This means we cannot express post cannons – order in enough time to arrive before your wedding. This also means you cannot take them on a plane after you have received them for your destination wedding. Organise for cannons to be sent directly to your venue or send with someone travelling by car. If this is not possible and you want the eco confetti moment -we recommend the our bagged confetti and cones.
Read all the instructions on the packaging.
Allocate someone on the day to be in charge of who uses the cannons, where the best position for cannon shooters are and most importantly, when to shoot. If used at the ceremony, let the celebrant know so they can help with timing.
Take into account the wind direction – throw a few blades of grass up and see which direction they fly – you may need to move all cannon holders to one side of the aisle.
Check with your venue – if they do not allow Eco-Confetti – we have Dried Petal Cannons which break down like fresh petals.
How many cannons do I need?
We get asked this all the time. I depends on how epic a moment you want. For a wedding ceremony, we recommend at least 2. But 4-6 is a good amount to spread the love down the aisle – positioning a pair at the front and the rest at the end of the aisle for the dip kiss moment. If you want a full white-out snow storm of confetti then as many as you can – you get a discount for multiple cannons – so go for it! Or involve all your guests and add some loose confetti.
